    32 points, 17 assists, 3 steals, and 5 rebounds

Chris Paul is the modern day version of Isiah Thomas ( won 2 NBA Championship in the most competitive era in the history of the NBA)

I think he's really really good player. IMO, the only superstars in the league are Lebron James, Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan. KG comes close, but he's been on some bad teams.

And Dirk is one notch below. With Nash, Stoudamire, Dwight Howard, Chris Bosh, Chris Paul and so forth.
The thing is though.. Nash and Amare complement each othe rperfectly.. you are seeing them at their best.. we've never seen dirk's true potential because he's never had the right team built around him.. which makes him accomplishing what he has even more incredible..

Well at least for once, part of what you say here is correct... the Mavs are a poorly constructed team. That is the Owner/GM's fault.

Dirk has had the green light for YEARS under Don. That team was built to out gun other teams, which is perfect for Dirk's soft game where he is a shooter and not a great low post defender. How the hell has he never had a chance to reach his true potential? What about last season's 67 win team with Howard actually playing well? What kind of teammates would be perfect for Dirk? You are a joke. Welcome to my ignore list.

Not to ruin your circle jerk, but Josh Howard, Jason Kidd, Jerry Stackhouse, Eric Dampier and Jason Terry combined for 18-46 (approximately 39%.)

Mo Peterson, Tyson Chandler, Peja Stoyokovic, David West and Pargo combined for 32-52 (approximately 61%.)

Granted Dirk should of commanded the ball more, but to put the blame solely on Dirk is dumb.

2-0 = looking bad for AJ's job security.

anyone acting like this game is Dirks fault is a fool.

whats worse for the Mavs in this game is only Julian Wright and Ryan Bowen shot under 50% combining for 1/4

    I agree.

Dirk, Jet Terry, and Brandon Bass are the only guys on Dallas that actually played tonight. Josh Howard, I'm looking at you bro. Step it up bro.

CPIII doing this with Peja, West, and Chandler. Imagine if he had STAT/Shaq or Gasol/Odom or Allen/Garnett or any other great tandems.
this guy is incredible, but dont expect him having the same numbers in the triangle offense. Kobe in lebrons system, could average easily 28 and 7 assist.

Longevity. He's certainly on his way there.

Well, if you had Paul, it'd be likely to assume a coach wouldn't run the triangle offense.

Keep chillin *****.. lol Get pissed haha

Dirk is best on the peirmeter.. the Mavs under Nellie(not his fault) havn't had a post presence. WHy do you think Aveyr tries to use Dirk as a post presence constantly.

Great teams need a great post player and a great perimeter player. Dirk is the great perimeter player. He's like a 7 foot AI or Kobe.

If you have a post presence for Dirk to play off of.. then Dirk looks ten times better and the post presence looks ten times better playing off Dirk.

Dirk has always played with guards.. just like right now.. all the decent players on the Mavs are guards.. they have no frontcourt around Dirk offensively and defensively..

You couldn't buuld a team around Dirk worse..

Kidd could potentially complement Dirk very well.. but we will never know under Avery.. because he's a full blown idiot..
