I mean there is one major talent still within his reach, and he won't even invite Miller to the biggest recruiting tool available to him? Anyways I weas browsing the Illini scout message board and I found this gem. "Weber couldn't sell cocaine to Lindsey Lohan."
You have to admit thats pretty funny.
Yeah, I heard all the same things on the Illini message boards. A week ago everyone thought it was a lock for Miller to come to Illinois. Now, no onw knows where he is going. There has to be an explanation as to why Weber hasn't invited Miller to midnight madness. Perhaps because the date hasn't been announced yet? I don't know, but we really need Miller to commit.

Happy birthday to Dee Brown! Thing popped up in my facebook this morning.
As for Miller, I'm going to stay optimistic. Like IF said, probably a reason why Weber hasn't invited him yet. Darius knows he's our only top recruit right now. I bet he's getting more attention than ever.
I wonder who else we're looking at. I hope we're looking at Verdell Jones. Even if he's not ready immediately, he's from Champaign and grew up watching the team. Just give him the offer. Bringing a hometown hero would do wonders for press. He can play too.

Where's TheGame? He hasn't posted in a while. He usually has some info that none of us were aware of at times like these.

Well some new names have emerged as of late. Renaldo Woodridge has us in his final 5 (we always get to this atleast). Mario Little, a JC player, and Justin Watts out of NC. Seems like a nice back up plan since we went 0 for 5 already.

Jamar Smith to redshirt next season. Hurts the team, but certainly a justifiable punishment.
Well, we might have trouble scoring again..

What is the deal with Jeff Jordan? Is he going to play or redshirt next year?

Looks like he won't be redshirting because of our lack of guards. Doubt he will get many minutes if he gets any at all though. Also, Bill Cole dislocated his shoulder. He was probably going to redshirt anyway, but this definitely sealed the deal. Hopefully, the injury won't linger.

That's some bull****. He leads the recruiting on this guy and suddenly decides to go to kentucky. Way to stab Weber in the back...
