Add at least 3 years to whatever his official age is.

That's what it should be. They should get rid of Carter though. They're not going anywhere anytime soon. Trade Carter for another top pick or something. He'll just **** **** up like in Toronto.
No one is taking Vince Carter's contract off the Net's hand. He will be making 18 million in his final year (2012) and by that time all that will remain from him will be a shriveled up vagine.

Re: Nets officially trade Richard Jefferson to Bucks
With RJ gone, I'm hoping VC can return to old form. He wasn't bad last year, but the NETS were. Hopefully the NETS don't draft Galliniri especially after trading for two sf's. Brook Lopez or JaVale McGee would fit in nice.

For the LAST TIME... VC's last year is a TEAM option. A TEAM gets to decide if his deal expires in 2010-2011 at $17M or 2011-2012 at 18M, so essentially he only has 3 years left.

If they draft Danilo...............

Re: Nets officially trade Richard Jefferson to Bucks
Man, as an outsider, I'm a bit puzzled for Nets fans. NJ gave up Rich Jefferson?!
He's a pretty good player. Like him. And somehow Yi doesn't seem (to me) to be anything more than Bargnani after his first year, minus the "upside".
(EDIT - not Al!)

So my take on trading the 2nd best player on the New Jersey Nets for an injury riddled swingman and a 24 year old tweener Forward.
And I don't think you should be allowed in or near threads that have to do with the Nets.

Yo I thought Yi was 20? Eric Gordon please come to nj Trade VC to the Nuggs for Smith and Kleiza. I am actually happy about this trade Yi will hopefully be our Center. J-bo, Yi, Klieza, Smith, Harris qould be sweet but idk if VC goes I hope it is for FAIR Value. this is as worse as being a Knick fan @ this point

Re: Nets officially trade Richard Jefferson to Bucks
I think Yi is more likely to play C than SF when he's not at the 4. He seems like he would be way too much of a liability on defense at the 3, not to mention his handles are not very good on offense for a 3.
