You know for the most part of my life i grew up in the south and mid west (georgia, SC, indiana) and there are gangs everywhere, hell when i was young i considered myself affiliated with the GD's. But this is stupid, these little prep school kids, making 14 man gangs, let them go to homeland park SC and find out what a real gang is like. I know some of these kids have it rough, but for the most part, a good high school player is catered to and treated like a crowned king by his community, and has no reason to try to affiliate themselves with gangs. I guess we have forgotten the true meanings of the origin of these "street gangs". LK and C's were both community projects to raise the general well being of all who participated. I know its hard in the streets, thats where im from, but education, perseverance and hard work is the key.

I always thought Marcus Williams had blood connections when he was at UConn. He often wore red sneakers even though it didn't match the uniform and there were some other things that were rumors as well...He and is family are very close to Jennings but I really doubt they are bloods...they probably just have blood friends like many athletes do.
