I hope they get rid of Rafer and JL3.

i agree if healthy, he should start, but;

i am not sure that he will be the starter, as i think rafer may start, but francis and mike james have more minutes.

i say trade head to la for cook

first team

rafer
tmac
battier
scola
yao

second team

james
francis
wells
hayes
butler.

and you have mutombo, novak, and brooks, and maybe snyder.

so i guess the real question is, if you keep james, alston, and francis, who are tou to REAL pg's, and who is the 5th guard.

i think you HAVE to trade sura, alston, head, and lucas, and u haslem is looking mighty fine about now.

COMMON MOREY, YOU CAN DO IT

James probably is staying. Alston and Lucas are most likely the one gone. I hope we get gooden or Haslem. Francis will most likely start.

I think that if hte rumour of Rafer for Haslem is done, that would be a total coupe for the Rockets and they would be SICK.

Francis
Tmac
Battier
Haslem
Yao

James
Head
Bonzi
Scola
Mt Mutombo

Brooks
Novak
Snyder

That is a great team with balance and they can sustain injuries to key players, even multiple injuries. I don't love Haslem (or Gooden) but for what Hou needs they would be ideal. I can't understand how Miami could make that deal but hey, if it happens that's great for Rockets fans.

Perhaps trade James, Alston and Francis for ONE non-insane solid PG?!

In all seriousness, Houston has enough fantastic scoring and does not need points from the PG. The rocket PG needs to run, setup, work, pass, pass, pass. Though far from ideal, James is probably best suited for that role out of these three. So, by default, when not in jail, Francis by my books would play the 2.
