he will NEVER be traded but if he was, send his ass to Dallas for Devin Harris, Josh Howard and Jerry Stackhouse. You can have Terry too if you want.

DAMMIT PAXSON!!! DO WHAT IT TAKES TO BRING THE BEST BASKETBALL PLAYER ON THE PLANET (KB24) TO CHI TOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

FUCK KUPCHAK AND THE LAKERS!!!!!!!!

It's not the case. As everyone knows, the Lakers aren't trading Kobe RIGHT NOW. When he is available, the Bulls WILL be in the mix. As the above article states, they offered a legit deal for Garnett AND from reports they did for Gasol, but the Grizzlies were intent on keeping him.

If the Lakers don't trade Kobe, he will opt out after 2008-09 (two seasons) and there WILL be PLENTY of teams with their checkbooks open, including Chicago and New York.

As the Yahoo! writer warns, the Lakers better think long and hard about trading Kobe before they lose him for nothing in two years. If the Lakers are struggling mid-season, look for Kobe's trade demands to rekindle themselves and don't be surprised to see him traded before the deadline.

The trade of Kevin Garnett to the Celtics has been the most important transaction of this NBA summer, but, for the most part, it sounds like a one-way deal. The storyline is simple: Garnett going to the Celtics is supposed to resuscitate Boston's once-proud franchise and help balance the yawning divide between the Eastern and Western Conferences.

But what about the franchise Garnett just left? What about the now-downtrodden Timberwolves? General manager Kevin McHale has made a string of bad transactions over the past decade and this sure looks like yet another one.

McHale, though, is not alone when it comes to being low-balled in a deal involving a star player.
This guy's premise is off; Minnie was not low-balled. They got a 22 year-old double-double big man (Al Jefferson), a very talented wing that could become a 20+ ppg scorer (Gerald Green), a solid roleplayer (Ryan Gomes), an 11 million-dollar expirer and two future firsts. Looking at what Orlando got for McGrady, the Raptors got for Carter, and the Lakers got for Shaq, that's a good deal. 5 players total (Ratliff and Telfair are the other two), and two first round picks. Who is getting better than that for their star?

I agree. In fact, depending on how KG holds up (he ain't a young pup), the Celts may have overpaid for him.

no, he only entertained seriously the clippers. At the 11th hour it was clips and lakes. he could have walked to the bulss, he didnt, saying he was about to makes no sense.

the bulls wont ahve cap space, hes not opting out and getting $5m a year to be a bull. its stupid, and it wont happen.

the bulls will need to actually give up talent to get him, and paxson is a ***** and he wont, so kobe will never be a bull.

I agree. I think the C's gave one first round draft pick too many.
