Clipper fan here and I wanted to let you guys know I wanted him on our Team so badly last year and this year. This guy can be deadly at times and he has a bit of a mean streak when he plays California Teams. I guess it has to do something with him being from SoCal and never playing on a Cal Team. He even lit it up in college against Cal teams especially UCLA. You guys have a hell of a role player and somebody that can definately put up the three, congrats with pure envy.
I was looking at the roster, and I just realized that bringing Jacobsen was a better move than I had originally thought.
As Jacobsen can play the 3, he provides some depth at that position, which without him Grizz had next to nothing. Probably would've been forced to use Kinsey or JC as primary backups for Gay, which doesn't sounds too good.
I think Miller will play the 3 also during the season. The Grizz are stacked in the 2 spot with Miller, Navarro, Kinsey and Jacobsen (who can play the 2 or the 3). If 'The Bomb' adapts quickly, I foresee the Grizz having several minutes a lineup with Navarro playing the 2 and Miller in the 3, very open offense style to give a lot of room for Gasol/Darko/Warrick inside the paint or a lot of open looks when the perimeter defenders help to stop the big men. They would lack on defense, but offensively can be fantastic.
Yeah I agree.Im just hoping juan can adapt. With pau here hopefully it dosent take long.In europe he wa the main gun.I hope here he can change his tune and be a facilitator.
I don't see the Casey Jacobson signing as bad.. however I'm not sure why he signed with Memphis. It will be hard to find playing time behind the likes of Rudy Gay, Mike Miller, Dahnty Jones, among others. I guess you can never have too much outside shooting though, as we've seen in the Olympic Basketball qualifying games (i.e. Michael Redd and Mike Miller)

First off dhantay jones is no longer a grizzly.Secondly you can always find time for good shooting. He is probably right off the bench. If not he is a specialist that will get at least 10-15 minutes a game.
