Boozer offensive fouls. Guys know when he get the ball and makes a quick move to the basket to just stay still and take the charge.
Boozer turnover. He shows the ball when he turns.
Okur slow to act. I think all his points come outside the offense. He needs some plays other than the three from the pick and roll to get him going.
Team defense. They know that if they have any speed going into the paint that they can get around everyone and get the and one. Starters are very slow on rotations, if they swing the ball around the 3 point line, they can expect and open one eventually. Plus we loose a lot of dribble penetration.
Tempo. Williams was known for controlling the tempo. He seems impatient and tries to answer instead of set a pace good for Utah.
We should have beat SA when Duncan was out and get that monkey off our backs. Dallas was understandable for the road trip against 2 of the top teams. Portland was our chance to regroup and get ready to win at phoenix. But in order to regroup, it would have been better to not think of the game as an easy regrouping type one. Now we can expect a loss at Suns, unless the harder circumstances cause Utah to fight harder.
Well that just figures... Someone serve me up some crow.
To add to what l>m said: LACK OF BALL MOVEMENT. When the Jazz win they get mad assists. Tha last three games the offense has looked a bit stagnant. I don't see anyone moving without the ball. Did Brewer even try to get to the hoop last night? Not that I can remember... We sucked vs. Portland last night. Plain and simple.
