1st of all Kobe had shaq and other vets that stepped up. 2nd Kobe is a wing player who handles the ball. 3rd basketball is a team game so you sound dumb. The "Grizzlies" were 0-16. And since basketball is a team game no one was "saved". Times when kobe didn't play well at certain points, his teammates (ie Fisher, Pau, Artest, Ariza etc.) picked up the slack and hit big shots. Points in the 1st quarter count to the total score just like points in the 4th quarter.

We both know the Lakers struggled to win games and playoff series when kobe didn't have Shaq or Pau. And the Grizzlies struggled to win playoff series when Pau didn't have Kobe. They got together, balled out and won 2 titles in 3 years. They obviously needed each other just like every other champion that has played in the NBA.
