Look I don't trust anyone from the government and it's entirely possible that it was staged but the problem is that basically anything that happens nowadays people do not trust. The internet and the media have completely obliterated anyone trusting just about anything.

People still think the Will Smith slap was fake, as a perfect example.

Nobody trusts anything. I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that this was fake until we have more.

It goes to maybe a 60ish degree angle behind him. So that could be a factor if it was truly from the side.

For that to not hit anyone or anything the shooter would have to be at close to ground angle with the bullet trajectory upwards. Which seems difficult to pull off given the crowd.

The simplest explanation is that the person shooting was a shit shot and truth be told got lucky to hit the first shot they did, which was the ear shot.

Then the adrenaline started really pumping and the aim got even worse.

Trump, being an opportunist and understanding the moment, raised his fist in defiance for a photo op that will garner support.

"It was fake!!11!" is far more improbable.
