Perhaps, but you also have to consider that according to Trump people in the military are losers which by inference makes Republicans losers and since these guys are still voting for Trump it would seem he has a point. Can they be trusted enough to win?

And the crazy thing is that in the video where you see the SS snipers on the roof, you can see that they were aiming at the direction of the shooter. As if they knew he was already there. I mean if this one big conspiracy, and this guy was a patsy just like Lee Harvey, then the plan was to wait for Trump to get shot and killed before they returned fire and kill the shooter. Only problem was, the shooter missed Trump. And if this isn't some conspiracy, then this is the biggest failure in the history of the Secret Service. Any rooftop within 500 yards of the President should have had a SS sharpshooter on it.
