I think everyone is getting besides the point here with the cats and dogs, parody account or no parody account. The fact of the matter is from all reports there is an excessive amount of illegal immigrants living in springfield. Some posters said the town was dying supposedly before the immigrants, if that’s true then there are other means to try to remedy it besides mass importation of immigrants…

I haven’t really seen anyone counter the fact that big corporations are using immigrants as leverage to suppress wages either.

Hombre, that’s how competition works, if you can’t beat them, join them….A good businessman will put finances over morals. If everyone is allowed to cheat you aren’t gonna get ahead by taking the high road and being altruistic. It would be nice if the world worked like that but it just doesn’t.


As long as it’s allowed, all corporations regardless of political alignment will go with the cheapest labor they can get. Thats the name of the game.

If you want protectionism you'd need some hardline left wing policies, but that comes with other repercussions and anything left from the neoliberal Dems is deemed straight up communism in the US. You want libertarian- and capitalism? You'll get migrants. Lot's of them. Doesn't matter if it's a Dem or Rep government.
