There has to be a playoff team that might trade for him.

54/45/90 shooting. 18/9 in 29 minutes. I’m assuming everyone reading this has him slotted firmly in “Yea yea…whatever” land. Especially since he had a 22/10 58/40/80 season previously nobody cared about.

And I don’t have any problem with that. I’m not here to advocate for him. I’m just saying….his numbers are technically happening. They exist. His true shooting of 64% this season is the third best of his career though it would be the best of Dirks by quite a lot. It would be the second best of Reggie Millers.

Im not saying you should do anything with that information. I just wanted to be sure you had it.

As long as the bum is in the deal. Sexton is close to collins shooting numbers and hardy doesnt like him of course. Makes the bum and george look bad i guess?

Im sure a lot of teams would love to add him, the question is does Danny Ainge want two dozen 1st round picks in return.

He held out for five FRPs to give up Toody, and Collins is a much better player.

Minnesota might be an interesting choice? If they aren't interested in continuing the Julius Randle experiment. Reid and Collins is a solid and affordable combination to pair with Gobert.

Not the playmaker randle is though hes been a lot better this year. Certainly a better shooter and he could rim run when gobert is off the floor. They might have enough d to make up for his weaknesses? Minny doesnt need The Bum though and he has to go!

Have to admit, have kind of forgotten about John Collins. Which is unfair because he's pretty good. He seems to have limitations though I don't know

Pretty versatile. Physical rim runner that can shoot the 3, rebound and an improving playmaker. Not a great defender. Was probably the best player on the jazz this year before getting hurt
