Michael Beasley averaged 26.2 ppg and 12.4 rpg in his freshman in college..
I thought he was going to be as dominant as Kevin Durant when he played in the NBA

Talent only gets you so far... He lacked the work-ethic and consistency to become what he was supposed to be, a perennial all-star. We saw glimpses of what he could have been when he was in Minnesota and New York. Also, IIRC he was a PF in college and he struggled to adapt to the SF position in the league (like many others, Arizona's Derrick Williams for example.)

Beasley had a college career high FOUR assists in a game, which he only did one time.
He was a blackhole on offense, pure and simple.

You know whats crazy?
If he somehow ended up playing with Lebron early on, he probably becomes a multiple time first team NBA.
