Day 3 starts in about 15 minutes right?

If the Cowboys had a 4th round pick... Sanders would be the perfect back up QB... we can handle the media distraction.

in my opinion... if your starting QB goes down, you'd want a QB to plug in that can take off and run because he's not going to have immediate chemistry with the WRs... while Nick Foles may shut down my philosophy, it's still a good strategy.

Commanders get a corner at 61 that was in consideration for them at 29. Amos was ranked 28th on the PFF big board.

SS must have been a disaster in interviews. This is ridiculous.

Problem with that is he's not great at avoiding defenses and running out of it. He led the whole NCAA in sacks (42) and sack yardage (356, almost 100 yards than #2). The year prior he was tied for first for sacks (52) and yardage (458, 120 more yards than #2). Also, his awesome completion percentage accuracy is when he's not under pressure. When pressure is on him he fails miserably. In short he needs a good line and needs to stay in the pocket with no pressure for him to be effective from what he's shown at the college level the last two years.

Diabolical. The prank callers released the video from their point of view calling Sanders...

Sanders went into Giants interview and it's reported he wasn't prepared for it regarding the install packages they were going to go over with him.

Giants head coach Brian Daboll called out Sanders in the interview for not being prepared and Sanders took offense to it and that interview pretty much ended there. Sanders made their decision easy and went with Dart.

Folks laughing at the prank call are losers. And the prank callers are typically how you think they would look. Not shocking there.

He was barely getting snaps but he was constantly the medias biggest target, and I think it played a role in Mark Sanchez’s downward trajectory. While far from a good QB, his level of play slipped dramatically that year and he never recovered.

So unless you legitimately believe this guy can be your long term starter, you really run the risk of bringing a huge distraction to your team who may not even be getting playing time.
No one drafts a kid in rd 4-7 and worries about “will he he a distraction?”. What are hs teammates going to be asked?

“Do you think Shadeur should’ve went higher in the draft?”
“Has Deion sanders shown up to practice and yelled at your coach yet?”
“Is his chain bigger than yours?”
“How come you’re not getting playing time as a day 3 pick?”

The whole media attention angle is weird really.

    So why is he dropping?

You keep saying every explanation for it is wrong and implausible.

But he is factually dropping in "historic" fashion.

So what is your explanation Gobber?

Every NFL general manager (all 30 of them right?) played quarterback and was intercepted by Deon Sanders in 1993, so theyre nursing a grudge over his kid?

Is that what you think is happening?

Yea the media part IS weird. But a guy who isn’t crazy talented and also seemingly an entitled douche will turn teams away.

Well Mcshay reported that Daboll wasn’t happy with Sanders.so that’s the Giants. We shall see what the other teams have to say. I mean shouldn’t be difficult. With all these anonymous reports prior to the draft. Not sure what’s holding their tongues now.

Round 4 complete, Sanders still on the board

To put this in prospective the Jets, Raiders and Steelers could use a future quarterback.

The Raiders passed on him seven times.

The Jets passed on him five times.

The Steelers passed on him three times.
