It's definitely a classy move from Whitmer. She's a soulless puppet obviously, but clearly she sees which way the wind is blowing and is trying to cozy up to the winning side. Whether that side is the right, the middle... whatever. Unity is great for the country whether it's genuine or even if the politicians are just playing pretend.

Every time a democrat embraces Trump or humanizes Trump, the board libs die a little on the inside. It exposes them as the frauds and phonies that they are. Just look at how mad Off The Court is. The guy is clearly fuming. I'm sure if we dig back far enough we can find examples of the board libs propping Whitmer up as a future presidential nominee, but they wouldn't dare do that now. She embraced Hitler.

In 2020 during the initial Covid strain, Trump sent New York City a full navy hospital ship with 1,000 beds to help alleviate the burden on the local hospitals.

In totality the ship ended up treating only 179 patients because Governor Cuomo said it wasn't needed. Instead he forced nursing homes to accept the Covid patients which ended up killing thousands of nursing home residents.

And why did he send Covid patients to nursing homes instead of the medical ship? Because the democrats were all in on making Trump the face of Covid and couldn't risk making it look like he did something positive.

So yea, the two sides aren't the same at all. You can pretend all you want.

Oh yea how can I forget that time anarchists and violent criminals took over multiple city blocks in Seattle and declared their own autonomous zone that operated totally outside the law. When Trump offered to send in the national guard, the mayor of Seattle told him to go kick rocks and let the CHOP zone stand for three weeks.

I’m not really using any “tactics” dude. Do you spend more time than you’d like engaging when you know it’s going nowhere? I spend a fair amount of time checking ISH but I’m not about to go point by point needlessly.

Okay, I get it. There's no ego with Trump, and certainly no petty or vindictive actions have been taken. He's notoriously graceful to those who speak out against him and his policies.

Since you've already flipped the conversation to something that it wasn't initially about at all and it's a slow day at work, I'll bite. The Cuomo thing..what exactly did he do to Trump? Isn't he the one that publicly requested the ship? And then didn't he publicly give praise to Trump when the request was granted? The ship also wasn't equipped to treat Covid patients...

Am I missing part of the story? I remembered it happened but it was fuzzy, and after doing a little research it doesn't appear that there was any sort of animosity exchanged.
