first off, regarding that 30% - 20% of that is from fentanyl. and you're kidding yourself if you think that's going to last.

now, yes - china lowered their tariffs in response to trump's threats of increasing tariffs on chinese goods. not the original tariffs they had - the extra tariffs they put in because of the extra tariffs that trump put in on "liberation day". so in the end, nothing's changed - there's no win here. we're back to square one sitting in the same boat we were before liberation day. plus prices here will continue to increase - that 30% is.... still high you know.

Why would you believe the "top economists"? If they were so good with money as they claim to be, how come they aren't wealthy beyond all imagination themselves? How come they get paid meager salaries to weigh in on economics?

For every "expert" you can find that says what Trump is doing is terrible, I can find an "expert" who says it's great. I can also find actual billionaire investors who say what Trump is doing is great. So there's really no point in just throwing up your hands and saying "Hey the experts have spoken so there's nothing more for me to add.." If you're that swayed by expert opinion then how come only your experts count?

I take it you also believed the "top health experts" who swore up and down that covid came from a bat? Or the "top biological experts" when they told you that gender identity had a basis in biology? Yea... experts can be wrong. Experts can also be acting in bad faith.

The stock market is already creeping back up, so I don't know why you would even bring that up.
