This is all a charade by both. Elon's own life and his family were threatened by these lunatic Leftists. This is just simply a way to shift attention away from Elon by making Trump the enemy. These two are very smart and successful men. This was carefully planned by the two and I'm sure they're having a good laugh about it.

I'm sorry but this is extremely faulty logic to me. So you're okay with rich people, just not billionaires? It's okay to get rich just not too rich?

So what does "too rich" mean? At what point does your net worth become "too rich"?

Give me a hard number or at least a definable range.

political theater aside (all seven pages of it), believe it or not elon is the right's blessing in disguise in regard to exposing how shitty this bill is. he could end up saving trump a lot of political grief if it were to pass as-is. otherwise a lot of maga npc's would have never known. granted a lot of them still won't know when this all over with and could probably care less because they're only in it for the left vs. right bullshit but at least maybe some of them will. then of course you have the segment of maga that does know better but is too pu$$y to call it out but, yeah... people gonna people.

Let's assume this is all real and not some charade, it still wouldn't justify Elon's behavior. He's free to voice his dissent over the bill and criticize Trump, but for him to take it to the extreme like this and a make a huge show of it? To go full on crazy and try to divide the base? Epstein accusations? How does that help matters? If what you're saying is true you look like an asshole too. He could have gone about this in a much more measured way. His over the top antics make him appear less credible.

Also, Trump must have known that if he ever crossed Elon it could come back to bite him. Especially if he was implicated in any Epstein stuff and Elon had access. Say what you will about Trump but he is smart about picking his battles. When he picks a fight it is usually because he intends to win. For him to make such a strong enemy out of Elon like this, knowing full well Elon has knowledge that could end him for good, that doesn't sound like Trump to me.

Of course I could be wrong. I've already been wrong. But this turn of events is so strange I have to be honest... I'm halfway convinced this is a show. And if it's not, I'll just say Elon is acting very strange. Regardless if there are issues with the bill.

straight out of a page from trump's art of the deal. he is behaving just as unhinged as trump has behaved against liberal opposition.

how quickly (and conveniently) you forget trump's lack of diplomacy and sanity

There's nothing wrong with punching back when you're being attacked.

There's also nothing wrong with putting a deranged liberal in their place so we can point and laugh.

I don't doubt it's a charade... but not for the reasons you suggested.

It would be for much more complex reasons than that.

Oh I wouldn't doubt that at all and pretty much agree with you.

    Is this mf'er serious?

Politicians acting purely out of self interest? Politicians claiming to be friends one moment and enemies the next?

And you believe you're the smartest person in the room because you arrived at this conclusion in 2025?

i cannot do that. it's actually a defect of mines, i am unable to kiss ass/fake liking scumbags. it's began affecting some of my professional relationships, but i cannot fake liking someone lol. some of the most succesful people in my line of work are very good at it though, they will stand there smiling, fake laughing at non-funny jokes, smooch, etc and they will get awarded big contracts for making that asshole feel like he's funny and charming. me on the other hand, i couldn't give a rats ass LOL, you have a problem? i have a solution. i kind of wish i was good at faking that sheet though, not going to lie.

classic long duck dong logic..."let me oversimplify something someone else said to prove them wrong". false equivalancy.

the difference between this admin and most traditional administrations are the people crossing party lines/divisions to join him. in other words, they are people unqualified, isolated, pulled from the basement, have zero in common with trump all because the traditional republicans aren't going to be 'yes men' to the same degree as a jd vance, gabbard, rfk will. there's a reason these people are pulled from the fringes of the political space.
