A U.S. intelligence report suggests that Iran's nuclear program has been set back by only a few months after U.S. strikes, and was not "completely and fully obliterated" as U.S. President Donald Trump has said, according to two people familiar with the early assessment.

This looks more like propaganda as the hours go by. The IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) director came out and said the attacks were significant. Even Obama's old CIA director David Petraeus said they set Iran's nuclear program back several years, not months.

will we ever truly know the extent of the damage? or even more intriguing is the question of whether or not the rumors are true that the nuclear sites were moved years ago and these were just left as decoys knowing this day would ultimately come? is iran the one playing 3d chess and currently sitting on 89% enriched uranium? probably not but it would be the plot twist of the century.

Not only that, there are media factions within our own country with their own allegiances. One channel says everything is going great, the other channel says everything is going wrong. So what do we know for certain:

- Israel was on the offensive unopposed for 11 days even before the US strikes
- Many of Iran's top leaders and scientists have been killed
- All of their nuclear related sites have been destroyed and will likely be under heavy monitoring
- When it was time for Iran's hail mary counter attack, it dealt minimal damage at best
- Iran went back to their corner and stopped fighting when they were told to

From the outside looking in, it doesn't look like Iran is in a position of strength whatsoever. This has to be a major setback for them.

so the question becomes what ability do they have to rebuild? what outside help might they receive from other outside entities? are they starting from scratch from both a material and headcount standpoint?

the key now is how much time they're allowed before israel or the us make another move. and while we're not knowing, it gives our governments all the more urgency to take further action.
