Butcher knives, cleavers, hatchets, swords and ninja blades are still legal.

As they prepare for the ban, the state is rolling out Machete Disposal Bins and offering amnesty for a limited period so that citizens can drop off their illegal machetes. This includes anyone who might've had one for farming, camping or food prep.
