Double Standards are going to be found in everything. You could probably find them at home with who does chores and who doesn't. It isn't a legit reason to declare anything right or wrong. If you go out and murder a black man, you can not point to OJ Simpson and say "double standard!"
So are you telling me that one of the most revered and idolized athletes in history was also an evil racist?
I thought your side was against racism. Why hasn't anyone mentioned this? Why is Ali continued to be celebrated?

Re: RIP Hulk Hogan
This has become a default for society when defending someone's wrong doings. To look for a way to find hypocrisy or double standards somewhere else in the past. People on every end of the political spectrum is guilty of this. But it's a garbage way to justify anything. Hulk made some outrageous comments that offended a lot of people, and those comments ended up sticking with him for his entire life. They were a black-eye on him as a human being. Maybe Ali should have been demonized, IDK. But his situation is completely separate. Also, life is unfair.
Any of you who think you have a chance at being anything upstanding in life should stray from making racist comments on the internet. It simply is not worth the pointless debate.

Re: RIP Hulk Hogan
So the moral of the story is that Bill Gates is perfectly fine being a hypocrite and applying double standards in society.
Bill Gates does not want the races treated equally.

It's not right or wrong to have double standards.
This is what you said.

It isn't a "REASON" to declare anything right or wrong.
As in, because "person X" got away with saying racist crap (Ali for example), doesn't mean that Hulk's comments were okay.

But clearly people think Ali's racism is okay because I've never ever heard anyone condemn him for it. I've only ever see him celebrated.
So if they're both racist, why isn't the treatment the same?

By GOBB's and Bill Gates standards, this should be enough to condemn Ali as a vile racist.

People generally don't know about Ali's racist comments, but his racism was excused because he was a black man living in the civil rights era.
Lots of celebs have gotten away with saying racist crap. That doesn't excuse Hulk. I mean, because Ali got away with it we are now to excuse everyone else going forward to prevent a double standard? no
Life is unfair snowflake.

FWIW, I do not think Ali's comments would fly at all in 2025.

Shake you’re this dense to ignore when Tyson was asked if that makes a person racist or not (what hulk hogan said). And he clearly says “I don’t know”. lol I think you dudes just post for a quick dopamine hit. Don’t care if you make sense or not.

Re: RIP Hulk Hogan
I do chuckle at how white males cry over double standards and “if you can say whites can’t jump then I should be able to call you the n words!”. It’s not fair. Even though this country is ran by white men. The privilege you have to still want more. The audacity. “Not fair”. Makes me wonder if hulk hogan influenced you in more ways than we know lol But I digress

Re: RIP Hulk Hogan
It's become the defacto way of debating. Oh someone I like did something wrong? Let me scour over all of mankind's history to find an example of a double standard so I can cry foul!
