Ali's comments were inarguably racist. That blacks and whites should not have babies because of race alone. That is racist by definition. Not to mention Hogan was like 50 when he made the remarks in the recording, that's a completely different level of maturity than 25 or 26 year old Ali in that clip, which is only 4 years after the Civil Rights Act. By 50, Ali became a huge advocate for human rights and tolerance. Honestly, the more I think of it bringing up Ali in this comparison was just a bad move if you're trying to be on the pro Hogan side of the fence.
