You do know that this is Socialism, right?

The administration could take equity stakes in more companies in the wake of China's new restrictions on rare earth exports, he said.

Do you know what the definition of the word "socialism" is?
Rhetorical question. Of course you don't.

Simpleton mindset from a low-IQ Libtard.
I know what Socialism is, and this is not it. Try again.

Apparently my IQ had affected the definition of the word:
socialism
noun
so·cial·ism ˈsō-shə-ˌli-zəm
Synonyms of socialism
1
: any of various egalitarian economic and political theories or movements advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods
If and when Trump has the government take equity that is socialism. Equity means ownership, in case you didn't know. And you probably didn't.

Covid was 100% proof that Trump was a socialist.
I've said this many times in the past.
What would Ron Paul have done during Covid?.... he would would've told every one to f*ck themselves and we would not have experienced the inflation we did.

Where is the United States controlling the means of production here? You are aware that the Federal Government of the United States owns 30% of the land across the country, right? This isn't news.

What part of "equity stake" don't you understand? Do I need to post more definitions for you? Refer yourself to Google. Or a high school English teacher.

You're not making the case for Socialism. Look at countries that have implemented Socialism and now look at ours. No Socialism. Anywhere. As much as you want there to be to point your finger at Trump and his supporters. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Re: You do know that this is Socialism, right?
Where am I advocating for socialism? You're an idiot. Go to sleep.
In case anyone is curious I don't think of socialism as inherently good or bad. It's just a word that partially (not fully) describes some governments' approach to dealing with some part or all of their economy. With the Red Scare of decades past it became a curse word in American politics used to smear left-wing policies by reactionaries that are apparently unaware of their social security cards. Our government already has a lot of socialism, you can't have things like FEMA, the postal service or a functioning military without the government grabbing a lot of money and using it as they see fit.

Sorry no, that’s not quite true. The COVID inflation was and is global.

Re: You do know that this is Socialism, right?
The United States has long since been a capitalist-socialist mixed economy with more and more trending towards full blown socialism with each passing year.
Look at the spending.

There are people on this very website that 10 years ago were arguing we had a defense spending problem and that the country was in disarray because we spent too much on the military and not enough on social programs. That's not even an argument now that any remotely reasonable person would make.
In fact, OP was probably one of said people, lol.

Was and is global? Do you realize all those countries are experiencing rapid inflation because they forced everyone to shut down and printed a bunch of currency?
And do you realize that if other countries print their local currency and the United States does not print their own local currency, that the United States does not experience rapid inflation?
If nobody had shut down at all and we let COVID do its thing we would have been over the whole situation within 6 months without the inflation.
Do you even have a full understanding of what inflation is and what causes it?
