Another hypocrisy of the right. Socialism is good when it's politically expedient.

Thousands of other federal employees like air traffic controllers are working without pay during the shutdown.

A USDA spokesperson said this move reflects President Trump’s commitment to helping farmers and ranchers, who are traditionally some of his strongest supporters. Recently, some of them have been unhappy with Trump’s latest moves although his support remains strong across rural America.

trump is gonna find out that ranchers have long memories. some of them keep alive decades long fights with neighbors over water and grazing rights.

\they will remember trump giving 40 BILLION to argentina who stole america's primary soybean purchaser (china) and trump flooding the american market with Argentinian beef. good luck not losing the midwest.

No it's not, he did it in his first term too so you're obviously not paying attention.

Absolutely zero sympathy for these dumb rednecks.

    Hey OTC, I'm curious.

Which had a greater impact on your life, the covid pandemic or this story about farmers?

Why are you complaining about this? What impact does this have on your life?

I am not complaining about this in particular, but I was complaing about the absurd beef prices that led to this. When is that last time you went out for a steak?

So you're allowed to complain about the price of steak, but I'm not allowed to complain about covid? I'm curious, what was the price of steak during Brandon's term? Did it go up or down?

Nobody here seriously thinks you give a damn about inflation because you were perfectly fine seeing it blow up after covid.

You can whine and complain about whatever the f@#k you want to. I was just suggesting that maybe it's a waste of time now. Because is it. Covid is over, move on. Move onto a current issue, like beef prices. We're all paying Wagyu prices for a regular ribeye.
