Did you know that for 2021-2023, Democrats held house/senate/presidency majority? That was 2yrs ago. Do you think the party changed significantly from 2yrs ago?
You think Obama misunderstood the question here about immigrants being able to vote without facing repercussions?

Enough Democrats caved.
A Sunday night Senate deal may be on the verge of resolving the longest government shutdown on record — after a group of moderate Democrats dropped their key demand — a guaranteed extension of Obamacare subsidies.
The agreement opened the way for a Senate vote in which eight Democratic defectors voted to break the filibuster and to clear the first hurdle to reopening the government after nearly six weeks. Their move will offer relief to millions of Americans whose lives have been severely disrupted by the shutdown.

They didn't get anything they fought on. They capitulated.
Now everyone's healthcare will rise significantly. On average, we're talking about 100% rise in costs. I hope the MAGA numbnuts celebrating understand that. YOUR healthcare premium will likely go up 100% next year.

Obama sold "Affordable" (lol) Care Act as saving a family $2500 a year, keeping your health plan, keeping your doctor, etc. - a load of baloney. It is what is raising healthcare costs - mandating 10 essential benefits (even if you don't need it - see below). Obamacare needs subsidies and even more extra COVID subsidies to line the pockets of insurance companies - on the backs of taxpayers.
All non-grandfathered health insurance policies in the individual and small group markets, including those sold through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplaces and off-exchange, must cover ten essential health benefits (EHBs). These benefits are mandated by the ACA and include: ambulatory patient services (outpatient care), emergency services, hospitalization, maternity and newborn care, mental health and substance use disorder services (including behavioral health treatment), prescription drugs, rehabilitative and habilitative services and devices, laboratory services, preventive and wellness services with chronic disease management, and pediatric services, including oral and vision care.

Not all is a loss for ya, blade..... you still got a commie mayor in New York who is anti-American and an AG in Virginia who tweeted that he wanted to slit the throats of his opponent and children. He also said he would piss on their graves.
Hell of a party you got there, chico.

If the clip seems out of context, it's because true to form for democrats, the original version on YT is edited. Anyways, it's funny how an interview that's supposed to clear up who can and cannot vote if you're latino, instead ends up with double speak making it seem like illegals can vote too.
Here's a fresh lawsuit from the Texas AG against an NGO called JOLT, who were registering illegal immigrants to vote.

Let's stick with your baseline, that illegals don't vote because it's just not possible and if it was they wouldn't do it. What kind of punishment should the people running an NGO like this get if they're using tax dollars to run an organization which gets illegals to break federal law?

because now that their elections are over, they could give a *uck about your premiums. the insurance companies are in their pockets anyway.
plus all eight Democrats that voted with republicans are not up for reelection so it's clear that the votes were calculated and conducted by schumer. then he has the gall to turn around and release a statement on why he voted 'no'.
so Democrats shut down the country for over a month, *ucked people out of their foods stamps, ****ed federal workers and the airports all to just take the deal that was on the table from day one.
you can't make this shit up.
...and they wonder why they lost twice to trump.
It's impressive though how good they are at getting voters riled up and believing it all.

What alternative did Republicans offer? They wanted to shift more costs to individuals, which was quite worse than the ACA. And the premiums were rising pre-ACA at a pace faster than post-ACA. You also couldn’t just buy insurance if unemployed or not eligible for Medicaid/Medicare. People were also getting cut off from insurance left and right. Go look it up. This is all fact pre-ACA.
ACA could have been better and could still be with a public option.

It's the classic case of... who do you blame—the evildoers or those who capitulate to them?
It's missing one component, though, that diamenz overlooked. If you blame the side that caves, does that mean the evildoers should be tossed under the rug? The answer is NO! Neither of them needs to be forgotten. Both need to go.
