These tariffs will not bring back factories and manufacturing from 50yrs ago, dumbass. Americans are paying extra to pay for these tariffs, and foreign countries are boycotting American goods. People in places like Europe and Canada refuse to buy from American companies and are dropping in tourism in significant numbers. It's all going to return to bite us in the ass long after Trump is dead & Republicans are acting the fool ("Trump? Who dat? Never heard of him") after blue waves in 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028.

They'll definitely bring back a lot of jobs over the next many years, because they're simply too expensive to keep paying for a lot of companies. Job market is still going to suck though due to AI sweeping through, taking job after job where people used to sit in front of a keyboard.
