70% of Americans oppose starting a war with Venezuela
I would compare this to another Iraq war but I actually have no idea. How many will die and how much more debt will be accrued?
I am sure that overthrowing a foreign government would come at a massive cost, both in terms of lives lost (most of these would be Venezuelan, and I have accepted the fact that certain people don't care about the lives of non-American whites, but it's not particularly Christian of you) as well as immense spending (if you can't properly fund SNAP or health care why the **** are you spending trillions to start an unprovoked war?).
But so far congress isn't doing anything about the President's war powers. If Trump decides to do it I think it's going to happen.

I find it hilariously funny how Americans are so concerned about the sovereignty of countries they support but when countries that don't want to use the american dollar as a base currency and let America rape them of natural resources that don't belong to them then they are declared terrorists, why should another country give a flying fu(k about America's economic or national security interests when it interferes with running their own country.
Just admit you want the oil and a tiny little country like Venezuela is telling you to pay for it or get fu(ked, so instead you want to an unnecessary start a war for it you fabricate reasons to go to war get what you want, straight small di(k energy

Don't you mean big dikk energy? Lol, last time I checked the big dikk takes what it wants.
People in general are against war but in reality they only care about the cost. If soldiers die and we don't gain much in return, then yes you will lose the average person. In hindsight I don't know a single person who thought the Iraq war was a good idea or a net benefit. It's mostly viewed as a colossal failure and it helped sway the election back to democrats in 2008. Even Trump ran on W's failures in the 2015.
But truth be told, if there's barely any cost to us and it improves things back home, nobody is gonna give a flying fukk. If you tell the average person that some ruthless dictator is being displaced, I don't think they're gonna lose that much sleep over it.
Not when gas prices are down.

The idea that it's OK for unknown (tens of thousands? Hundreds of thousands?) Numbers of people to die so that you can save a little money on gas is evil thinking. You're no better than a thief and a murderer. You just wouldn't want to personally get your hands dirty.

Who said anything about people dying? I clearly put that disclaimer in my post and said that if people die, people won't stand for it.
Are you illiterate? Or do I just make you THAT emotional and you just start raging without reading my post.

You said "soldiers" die. Beyond the idiocy of the idea that you can depose the leader of a country without losing a single soldier you apparently don't seem to realize that there would be a massive number of civilian casualties. But I will give you the benefit of the doubt here and say that you're just a moron and not evil.

Then by all means you are welcome to air your grievances when that takes place. As it stands we haven't lost a single soldier or taken a single civilian life.
I also think it's hilarious you're trying to paint me as some type of villain for daring to point out that gas prices could go down. Newsflash most of your modern comforts and conveniences already depend on unfair global power structures. I don't see you in a rush to give back your cheap electronics produced under low wage labor or your clothing produced in sweatshops. As we speak you have people on this forum crying about Trump rounding up illegals because we need them for a low wage slave labor. Jasmine Crockett was bold enough to say it herself. "WE DONE PICKING COTTON!!"

But sure, I'm evil. Not the democrats that want to keep their indentured servants.

You don't care about black lives otherwise you wouldn't be pro abortion. That's not very loving and accepting of diversity of you.
