Yup and even though this series is far from done, If the Nuggets were to somehow advance(I hope), then I'd much rather face the Magics than the Cavs. Though, a possible Lebron vs Melo matchup in the finals sounds a little too good to resist.

BTW, Melo became the first Nugget to score 30+ in 5 consecutive Playoff games.

Nuggets have injuries to Anthony (left ankle), Kenyon Martin (fractured left ring finger) and J.R. Smith (strained right calf).

Aw man, injuries keep on stacking up, definitely not a good look..

Not blaming Karl for this loss but I have to point this out:

Once again he had a bad passer throwing the inbounds and no balkman despite us losing because of defense and rebounding.

Yeah I've got faith that they can still win this series, this team might just be good enough to overcome Karl's coaching.

Wow, another Kenyon Martin horrible inbound pass to Melo that Ariza (game hero) intercepts again. This after game 1 was lost on a weak play from Karl and weak pass from Kenyon and weak cut from Melo,

Karl .....the inbounds play is the first thing you practice in training camp. You have failed.

Well eerything is getting too tight for the Lakers... Here comes the ZEN MASTER tring his Jedi Mind tricks:

In addition to his frustration at his team's poor rebounding and inability to contain Denver off the dribble, Lakers coach Phil Jackson reserved some of his most heated post-game venom for the referees after Monday night's Game 4 loss. Jackson suggested that inconsistent officiating sapped the Lakers of their typical aggressiveness and ultimately caused the second half to get "kind of out of hand." Three of the four technicals called in the game were on Denver, but the Nuggets shot 49 free throws - 14 more than the Lakers

Phil Jackson: "Tonight we didn't know what a foul was and what wasn't a foul out there," he said. "Start of the ball game, we got guys knocked around going to the basket and they said they were going to let these things go. By the end of the game, little fouls were being called all over the place

Jackson also accused Nuggets guard Dahntay Jones of "unsportsmanlike basketball" by intentionally tripping Kobe Bryant late in the third quarter. Jones was belatedly assessed a flagrant 1 foul from the previous game for pushing Bryant in the back on the way to the rim.

Sorry to make you Laker fans hurt......NO SUSPENSION FOR JONES

The league assessed Denver’s defensive specialist a flagrant-1 foul for sending the Lakers’ star sprawling through the lane with a trip late in the third quarter that Bennett Salvatore’s officiating crew missed

The Lakers prevailed in a tough series. Props to the Nuggets for playing a very impassioned series. Its part of their journey to gain this important experience. It also shows how difficult it really is to get to the finals. They have the core of something special and hopefully they will build upon it.

Congrats!

Very good post, that is exactly how I feel- can't take all the steps at once, but now the nugs have been through a real battle against a real team (bulls had to lose to the pistons before they learned to beat everyone.....)
Hopefully ownership believes that the possibility is there, the roster needs adjusted but this core is what we've always thought it is- a contending talented team, now go build a championship team- still another couple steps to take-cant wait

Eliminated once again...but at least this time it was in the Conference finals.

Anyways, as mentioned by a few, this team is moving in the right direction and should look to build on that for next year. Also, fans should be proud of how well our team performed, I know the outcome isn't what we would've liked, but still, we made it pretty far given the major makeover the team went through this year. Ain't no shame in losing to a great team like LA. Can't wait for next season!
