Man you guys go gaga googoo over a player. Didnt anyone notice the OL protecting better? Didnt anyone notice that Tony Romo mobility is buying him some time? Drew Bledsoe could perform the same way if that OL blocked like it did today. Problem is mobility and rolling out of the pocket to make a pass. He chokes where Romo excels.

Good game but I'm not going over it

Tony Romo = Jeff Hostetler

Drew makes horrible decisions and countless mistakes. Theres absolutely no way he preforms the same way that Romo did today even if the Oline blocked like they did. Delusional if you really think that Drew is capable of throwing 5 TD's and not turning it over at least once.

I'd love for Romo to be Hostetler. More then I ever expected outa him. Means we'd win the Super Bowl too.

last year he threw 3 td passes without an int 4 times.
year before last he threw 4 td passes without an int.

Yes delusional.

Drew has proven with protection he can disect a defense. Obvious Dallas OL wasnt great in the pass protection now were they good at picking up blitzes (RB included) to protect Drew. Granted Drew isnt blame free of taking sacks but dont sit there and act like he isnt one of the game best pocket passers.

He and Kerry Collins have the same problems. They can put up stats, passing yards and look good but that is only if you protect them...and in this game defenses are too damn fast for an offense to block well 24/7. Even Manning has showed he is atleast mobiel enough to leave the pocket, avoid the rush and throw. Drew simply cant.

Tony works...wouldnt go away from him at all. Drew to me days are numbered. But today he could have won the game as well. 5 td's? Maybe not. But a win nonetheless.

its obvious GOBB didn't watch the Cowboys play much this year. Bledsoe just plain sucked. The difference between Romo and Bledsoe isn't just mobility, its decision making, poise, quick release, and craftiness. Sure the OLine was bad, but part of the reason behind that was Bledsoe was about as mobile as your typical garden gnome and teams game planning to take advantage of that and attacking the OLine all game long. Take Bledsoe out and put Romo in, and that same OLine starts looking good.

Since when did 3 td's mean the same thing as 5? I said Drew doesn't throw 5 with out at least throwing 1 INT. And yea, you really are delusional if you think he does anything close to what Romo is doing right now.

Even with the best protection ever, Drew is gonna make some boneheaded playes. Dude has made em all year long. Protection was decent in the Jax game and he throws 3 picks, including one to kill a game-tying drive. Protection was decent on the last play against Phili and he throws a game ending pick. Same with the game against the Giants. NO pressure and yet he still forces it to Glenn and kills a drive before the half.

The guy's decision making has dropped like no other this year and that isn't gonna change no matter what the protection.

One of the best pocket passers in the league? This is 06, not 96.

Bledsoe. Plain. SUCKED. I've never seen a veteran qb rated to be good make so many bonehead plays in my life. Give me Tony Romo, give me Testaverde, go overseas and even get me Chad Hutchinson, anything but this guy. Guy has all the tools for a prolific passer. Touch, read, and a cannon of a arm. But he's a statue, sack shy for lack of a better word, and after about two sacks you can see he has happy feet meaning that he takes his eyes off the field and is too busy watching for the sack which makes him go through his reads later which in turn makes him hold on to the ball. There's a lot of explanations that could explain Bledsoe's fall from grace, but even he can't explain some of the bonehead plays he's made.

Romo hits his receivers like Brady in NE. He spreads the ball around so you can't just key in on one specific player or area of the field. I liked how yesterday he saw the safety for TB limping and kind of hobbled and immediately on the next play went at him and hit Glenn for the touchdown. Can't be taught. You either have it or you don't.

why don't you watch the game film for this year. there were plenty of times when he got more than enough time and kept patting the ball and kept waiting for terry glenn to get open. it was as if there was no other reciever other than terry glenn on the cowboys that was eligible to catch the ball. bledsoe was just plaine garbage. its blatantly obvious that GOBB hasn't watched the cowboys play much this year. quit trying to base your argument on a stat sheet from the past.

There is no stat sheet from the past to refer too dipshiiit. You have no clue. Drew decision making this year has been terrible. Never once disputed that. Whats the point of ur reply again? Oh you're the boards GIMP. No wonder.
