IMHO, without the NCAA tourney...

Tyrus Thomas would have been a late first, early second round pick.

if the raptors are going tot draft a SF there is no way in hell their not going to draft rudy gay

especially as thomas is a sf/pf, hes just another stromile swift

Wow. The guy is 6'9'', still physically growing, is a quick leaper that can block and rebound at a solid rate, and whose handles and jumpshot are light years better than Chandler's. Not to mention the fact that he can play as many as 3 positions defensively.

There's no way a guy like this is a late first rounder. Guys like Thomas have always been drafted in the lottery. Usually in the top 5.

In today's more uptempo NBA, every team can use a guy like Tyrus Thomas. He's an uber-roleplayer.
