Signed? Holmes wasn't even a free agent... Steelers traded Holmes to Jets for a 5th rounder.

I meant traded....

But for a 5th rounder...still can't believe the Steelers did that.

how many teams has he played for? Miami Washington Miami now the Jets dont get your point...

I dont mind the pick at CB but the Jets better find a rushing OLB and Safety!

Hate the Jets. Took John Conner!

Jets traded Leon Washington to the Seahawks.

Jets still dont have competent safeties... they better hope Brodney Pool is healthy, Eric Smith.... yuck.

Jets still dont have OLB rushers. Taylor is fine in nickle dime long yard situations but it sucks to have to scheme for every sack. We need pressure in base packages as well.

imo the Jets will be deadly on Defense this year (correction: even more deadly)

they lost some defensive guys but by drafting Wilson and trading for Cromartie, they'll be even better in pass prevention. Jason Taylor also helps on 3rd down and other obvious pass situations too.

On offense, i like what they've done. They've replace Fineca with Vlad & given Mark even MORE options by signing LT, grabbing Santonio and drafting Joe McNight.

The Jets front office has set a bad prescedent the past couple of years.

1. Releasing veteran players in the last year of there deals to save money or trading them.
This has been happening a lot the past 4 years with Baker Kendall Faneca Thomas Jones.... Ellis is up next.

2. Making many players wait until their deal is about to run out then trying to sign them.
Now it seems all the players that are up for extensions Brick, ManGold, Revis dont want to get LEON Washington'd in the last year of there deal.

This organization will lose out on many players if they keep up this culture.

Holmes is a total douche btw. Good luck with him. Right after the stupid ipod incident, the Jets had a meet and greet with some corporate clients to try to sell tickets, etc. and had the new players (im not sure all) there and some older players. Everyone was talking, taking pictures with players, etc. (thats what they were there for). (My friend is one of those corporate clients btw).

Holmes brought a friend with him so he didn't have to talk to anyone (you had to talk to the friend) and you were allowed to take picture of him (not posing, mind you - just him sitting away from everyone) but not with him. So basically, he'd look at you from his chair so you could take his picture.

Have fun.
