I'm happy Webber chose Detroit over the Lakers.

Not that I don't like him or anything but to me he has a karma similar to Malone's - regardless of the obvious differences in their personalities. And his karma (to me) says Webber is not an NBA champion.

I think he would have helped the Lakers to be a better team this year, but could not have pushed them over the top. All in all I'm not disappointed he joins Detroit.

i did NOT want webber on the lakers.

lakers current issues are defense. we have enough forwards on this team as it is and i don't think webber defensively would make a difference.

the main reason i didn't want him is partly what elementally said about karma.

his karma is not of a winner. i just think that whatever team he ends up on won't win at the end.
