Its really a shame because he was looking nice in the summer league and the Pacers could use some nice young talent with potential. but i agree with Inspired, this guy has issues. Maybe he can work them out, maybe not. But its not a good sing. Guys who start their careers off like this tend to be in and out of trouble. Hope he can get it together, he looks like a nice young talent

good post.
i agree w/ everything u said. we seemed to have gotten a quality player and then something u couldn't have imagined to happen, happened.
I had high hopes for him, hopefully the situation isn't as bad as it sounds but from what I see it is.
Shame another young talented kid gets tangled up before he can do some good but he needs to have some intervention now while he is young so that maybe he can salvage his career.
Lance is one of the most talented offensive players i've seen in a long time. But, dude has serious character issues (obviously) but this is a terrible thing he did and i thought he should have just been released. If he can (key word: if) clean up his act and learn to play better D and work better off the ball he could be a HUGE steal. He really really needed to stay at Cincy for another one of two years, but he did what he had to do. Good luck to him but he needs to work on his attitude and action, no excuse for this type of stuff.

I honestly haven't seen anything from him that proves he knows how to actually play ball outside of the playground. Yeah, the kid can absolutely go ISO and take a fair bit of defenders off the dribble, and don't get me wrong, that's a valuable NBA skill, but that's his ONLY NBA ability right now.
It's a shame he's in need of supervision because the D-League would potentially do him a ton of good.
David Morway was on the Dan Dakich show and talked about Stephenson. Obviously hasn't gone to court yet so he couldn't get too into it but he made it seem like the media sensationalized it a bit and their own investigating has them feeling pretty comfortable about him. Guess we'll see.
