Why did Durant get so much hate for his playoff performance?

Lakers swept the Jazz if I recall. They played Houston the year before in the 2nd round. Also what I remember from the series was Westbrook torching Derek Fisher but when they switched Kobe on to him he was far more quiet. So I really don't believe this notion of Durant being Westbrook's sidekick.

I for one never asserted Durant was Westbrooks sidekick. I was just quickly thinking about the competition Lebron faced defensively in regards to the Lakers. Obviously they were all great, but yea the only reason I see Durant getting hate for his performance is probably because people asserted him to be a leading candidate for MVP after that performance, which I didn't see the correlation between that performance and possible MVP.

he wasnt great offensively but OKC played fine as a team

if anything, this is just people trying to make one guy more important than he really is and then thinking stats is everything
