3-0 under Vogel. First 3 game winning streak all year. Don't even care that it was 2 down right awful teams and one medicore one due to injuries.

Hell, honestly don't even care about the record. Making the playoffs could maybe help get some on the fence fans back in the seats, but that'll just be a byproduct of what Vogel (under Bird's orders probably) is finally doing, playing the kids. And actually playing them meaningful minutes and real responsibilities on the floor, he's not hiding anyone. Last night made two games where they specifically cleared out for Paul Future Franchise Player George to take his man off the dribble. The results were middling, but he needs that freedom to do those things and develop his skills. JOB'd never let him do that.

For the record, I hold no animosity towards Jim O'Brien. I have no doubt in my mind every single thing he did was what he thought would make the team win games. He was simply wrong and massively short sighted. You can't blame him for not wanting to spend time developing guys for the future when it was obvious he wouldn't be back, but LAST year, with the constant yankings of Hibbert for any mistake? Nothing will ever change my mind that we overachieved his first two years here, but there is not a chance in hell he should've been back this season. That's on Bird. I think JOB did the best his unadaptive mind would allow him to do.
