Default Phil Jackson monitoring Bulls record

http://http://sports.espn.go.com/los...ory?id=6183645
Quote:
Jackson said he is also paying close attention to the Eastern Conference standings, particularly to third-ranked Chicago. Jackson wants to make sure L.A. stays ahead of Chicago in the overall league standings should the Lakers play the Bulls in the Finals, assuring home-court advantage in that scenario."You want those matchups, just in case something happens, to be in your advantage so that you have home court," Jackson said.
wow, count the zen master among the rising number of nba personalities who are getting really impressed with the Bulls. Jeff Van Gundy, Hubie Brown etc are awed by their accomplishments. Brown pointed out, the challenge of this team at the start, a rookie head coach with 8 new players etc.

jackson should be more worried about his team getting through the west and the seedings in the west rather than worrying about seedings in the east, but nice to see him concerned, this bulls team is for real.
