dont expect Sessions to be on the Cavs next season.

What about Beasley he is a SF and perfectly comfortable playing SF still has a great chance to live up to pre draft hype. He had a bad start not cause he was a tweener he was a bad fit didn't get a chance to play with freedom. Now Williams is not going to have problems with fit he doesn't need the ball in his hands to be good and he has legit size to play PF

Williams will be a big time scorer from the 3, and will be an above average rebounder from that spot on the floor. He's also an extremely smart offensive player, rarely taking a bad shot (almost 60% from the floor both from 2 and 3 in college).

This is a kid that was generally overlooked coming out of HS. He wasn't projected to get significant minutes at AZ as a freshman, and was certainly not projected to be the #1 on a Final Four squad last year. He's a worker who will continue to improve. He was the best player on the floor everytime I saw him this year...including the game vs Duke and Irvine.

I understand the emphasis on PG in today's NBA, and that SF is the most difficult position from which to dominate a game. But Cleveland is a few years away even if they hit it right in this draft. They'll need to add more pieces over time.

I think the gap between Williams and the next best frontline player is much greater than the gap between Irvine and the next best PG (Knight, Walker, etc).

For that reason, I'd take Williams first and one of the other PG at 4.

i swear Williams looks like a monster in his highlights. i'm still not understanding how great Irving is over Williams, from what i'm looking at its not even close
I think Beasley is more athletic he was injured this year

I think Irving will struggle his first year if he starts. Dude played like 10 games in college.
He's got talent but not much experience. Drafting him with established point guards ahead of him would ease him along.

Arizona bigs are soft why do you think Derrick Williams is saying he's a small forward?

If Irving went to Wake Forest he would be called the next CP3. It's the Duke hate.

When Cleveland first one the draft lottery, I immediately thought that they should go with Williams at #1 and Knight at #4. Then I thought about it, I could see how they would want Irving (who does have the most potential of any point guard in the draft) and someone like Kanter at #4. Now, I'm back to where I started. I think Derrick Williams is just flat out the best player in the draft, and if you're a franchise like Cleveland (rebuilding), you have to take the best guy available. Knight will be a good point guard, maybe even better than Irving.

It's all about value here. Maybe Cleveland doesn't come away with a point guard. So what? There will be others. Gotta go with the best guy, though. I think that's Derrick Williams. They have Baron Davis and Sessions at point guard. That can help them hold serve until they get a solution for the future should they not come away with a point guard in this draft.
