Default OKC picked Reggie jackson.. Who are they are parting with ??

Maynor or Westbrook ?? There were alot of rumors that a team had promised to draft Reggie Jackson and told him not to try out for any other team. This is despite of the kid just coming from a knee surgery on may 17th. That means they have alot of faith in this kid and they will replace one of their PG's to keep him, who is it going to be ? Reggie's game has been compared alot to westbrook's but he's a better defender than russy.. Chime in.

Well judging by the fact that they were trying to move Maynor to a team that would allow them to move up in the draft, I'd say they are going to get rid of Maynor.

Depends on who improves more this year.
Do the Thunder want another year of Westbrook not running the point and coming down and taking horrible shots? Doubt it. Do the Thunder want Maynor taking end of game shots that should be taken by Durant? Doubt it.

Both might be gone if they keep it up.

Yeah, most likely Maynor since they were attempting to move him. But maybe neither. Jackson can play the 2 as well. He's a rookie, and coming off an injury, so I wouldn't be too quick to move players on his account. There's time to let the situation play out before moving players is necessary.

Maynor if either, since we were trying to move him to get into the lottery but its not unfathomable both stay and Jackson becomes the backup 2 to give us some athleticism and scoring off the bench since we will probably be starting Harden next season

I dont see why they'd move Maynor now that the Draft is over. If anything they should wait to see how Jackson looks in training camp to decide if he should be their backup PG or if his future is as a backup SG.

Reggie's not a pure point and is more of a combo guard. If anything, this may free up James Harden to start instead of coming off the bench.

Do I want another year of retarded posts like yours?

NOOOOO!!!

Westbrook was money this year. In the playoffs what happened was Durant had a harder time getting open and Westbrook plays most of his minutes with only him and Durant on the floor as scores (post Green trade), the second unit that Durant stays out with actually has more scorers/shooters then the first unit that's just KD and RW. In the playoffs KD was held and bumped and didn't get many open looks. Westbrook was forced into taking too many shots and had a hard time getting his confidence going after it was rattled.

And STILL the team of 21 year olds should have been up 3-2 on the eventual champions in the WCF.

You don't break what 100% obviously worked pretty damn well. Another year of seasoning will make them better. Reggie's probably going to be the backup 2 with Harden starting and Thabo the backup 3. There is zero reason to make any kinda shakeup with this team. They need to be kept together. Dallas had similar issues for years and they were all older to start with. This year's goats are tomorrow heroes.

Less we forget the year before in the playoffs Durant sucked and RW was the stud. Not on paper, in the games.

I think if anybody is losing minutes to this kid it's Thabo Sefolosha and/or Daquan Cook. Harden pretty much proved that he deserves like 30 mpg at the SG position. Just give the rest to Jackson if he can handle it.

why does one of them have to go? They can now move Harden into the starting lineup and have Maynor be backup PG. Jackson can provide some scoring off the bench now.

That's kind of what I was thinking after they drafted him. He's only 6'3" but has like a 7'0" wingspan. He can defend both guard positions and I know he can score the ball.
