Could have, should have, would have, but didn't.
It's not guaranteed that Wade and Lebron will win a championship. Stockton and Malone were a better duo and they never won a championship.

1 year man.... 1 year..... calm the hell down, they will win championship/championships.....
Stockton / Malone was somewhat of a more complementary duo... but not a more talented duo! Lebron, Wade, Bosh, that is just to much talent in Heat to NOT win a championship, even if you surrounded them with only scrubs.... the question is only when & how many!

Nobody is talking about Orlando Tmac, just Houston Tmac.
brb getting shut down by 6'1 Derek Fisher
brb shooting below 50% TS%
brb blowing a 3-2 lead in a series.
brb having shitty leadership qualities and no intangibles
brb never getting past the 1st round
brb getting laughed at for being a 2nd round virgin.

We all know that Lebron has also had poor play-off series...
If you think LeBron ever had as bad of a playoff series as Tmac did in '07 and '08 then you are kidding yourself.

I'm perfectly calm.
It's not guaranteed. You don't understand how hard it is to just win ONE championship, let alone multiple championships. I know guys like Kobe make it look easy, but it's really not easy at all.

Well said.
'08-'09 is legit guaranteed though.
Here was what the Rockets lineup would be heading into the '09 post-season
PG: Aaron Brooks/Kyle Lowry
SG: Ron Artest/Von Wafer
SF: LeBron James/Shane Battier
PF: Luis Scola/Chuck Hayes
C: Yao Ming/Dikembe Mutombo
Of course Tmac didn't play in that post-season due to a bruised vagina....as usual. The Rockets still managed to get past the 1st round without him. That Must be a coincidence that the Rockets got past the 1st round without Tmac but were never able to get past it with him during those seasons
I mean really, that is a legit super team. That would be a better team than the current Miami Heat in my opinion as well.
Three elite perimeter defenders in Artest, LeBron, and Battier on that team and an elite defensive anchor down in the paint with Yao Ming and with Dikembe Mutombo backing him up in the middle?

Yao Ming missed the playoff the previous season. I guess because he had a bruised v*gina as well? Are you seriously going to call out McGrady because of injuries when the guy is still playing and Yao is not? Seriously?

I believe healthy Yao (which is almost an impossibility) paired up with LeBron is a guaranteed championship. Lets not get ahead of ourselves here. LeBron James is like Iverson, he NEEDS the ball to be dominant. Yao, who in 2009 was "elite", needs at least 20 FG attempts per game. That means at least 25 touches. Is LeBron willing to share the ball? If he is, is he still as dominant? Look at his current Heat situation. He plays better when Wade is not on the court, because LeBron NEEDS the ball to be dominant. Not only that, his off the ball movement is not good, like Kobe in the Shaq era.

that's not what you said last year dude. You said the heat would win a championship last year guaranteed. Nothing's guaranteed in this lifetime bro...
Re: Replace McGrady in Houston with LeBron from '04-'09
Just saw your post in the Heat thread. Sorry bro, my memory of anything that happened longer than 3 years ago is abysmal. Plus, I only really got into basketball around 09, and if I don't feel knowledgeable/qualified to talk about something, I try not to avoid acting as an expert on it.

How about you talk AFTER they win a title? As of right now, your so called "King" is ringless.

LeBron also never got to play with an elite offensive post player like Yao was. I mean who was LeBron's best post-player in Cleveland? Jamison? Big Z? LeBron was kind of wasted in Cleveland on that part. I always thought that LeBron needed a post-scorer and Jamison was never the answer to that question although Jamison in '10 was better than anything he ever had.
Now lets replace Tmac in Houston with LeBron from '04-'09. The only reason why I stopped at '09 opposed to '10 is because that was pretty much the last season Yao and Tmac were playing for Houston.
So from the '04-'05 season to the '08-'09 season. How do you think the duo of LeBron James and Yao Ming would have fared?
I think they would have won the championship in '08-'09 for sure though. I'm not so positive about the other seasons.
Re: Replace McGrady in Houston with LeBron from '04-'09
Why are people assuming Yao stays healthy? And the West is way tougher than the joke that the Eastern conference was. They'd get past the 1st round for sure, but championships aren't guaranteed.
