Default Stephen Curry keeps getting banged up regularly during season

The San Francisco Chronicle reports:

Stephen Curry sat shirtless in his locker stall with his head down, his foot in a bucket of ice and his voice quivering with dejection.

This somber scene describes Wednesday's postgame locker room, but the especially disconcerting thing for the Warriors' point guard is that it also depicts a handful of other postgames this season.

Curry, who had surgery on his left ankle this summer, has severely reinjured his ankle three times in the past two months and most recently went down with a strained tibialis posterior tendon in his right foot.

"It's frustrating because I feel like I'm taking all of the necessary steps to make sure I have a stable foot on the court, but something keeps happening," Curry said. "Because I'm competitive, I've been trying to get back on the court in the shortest amount of time possible, and I think that's how I've gotten into trouble."
