Lakerfreak???? Mike Brown is Satan???? Where the Fk did that come from????
He's a very good man, I just talked to a mutual friend yesterday afternoon.
Kinda kid like to not be able to separate harsh criticism of a terrible coach from feelings about someone as a human being. I think you're better than that. The arguments you make on the other hand are very un-informed and to put it nicely....silly.
Ever watch a game with front runner fans who don't know the game, the Lakers play like crap, turn the ball over 30 times, take a ton of bad shots but win the game. Those type of fans rave about how well the team played, how great they are and when you discuss the turnovers and bad shots they have that dazed look because they have no idea what a turnover is much less know the difference between a bad shot and a good one......all they know is 2 things....the ball went in YAY!!, and we won Yay!!! They can't really understand fully what they are watching.
LMAO.....often they don't even know the players other than Kobe. What can you do but smile and smile some more.
I wish Brown very well when he returns to his appropriate job as an assistant coach.
A very funny and subtle way to call me a stupid kid. I will however keep defending my stance on Brown as these lakers continue to win and impress in the West. When things start falling apart, then maybe I will begin thinking otherwise.

I sincerely apologize if you are taking it that way, that is not what I meant.
I'm quite positive that you are a very bright young man, however understanding basketball coaching is not your strong point......there is no crime in that, certainly you have many things you know much better or do much better than any of us, myself included......more important things than a silly sport.

Wow.....there's a name I hadn't heard in awhile!!!
Yeah, I actually played some pickup games with him, Coop, Dino Gregory Sr., Dwayne Polee Sr., Rocket Rod Foster back in the day. Rod and I talked about him several years ago before a game between our teams in ARC.
I hadn't been aware he died.
But yeah, Raymond helped put Verbum Dei on the map in the 70's

So you're from LA?
I have a buddy at work who grew up in Compton and knew Raymond lewis.
He said he was the best player he'd ever play against.
Said guy was so fast and had the nicest jumpshot. Said had he played in the league, would have tore MJ up. He was too fast.
Keep in mind, my buddy played with many great players including kareem

Yeah, his J was smooth, he was fast, but there were so many guys who were blazing fast.....lol, I was even blazing fast back then.....and I had hops........LONG Time AGO so what stood out to me most was his shooting, you know the ref Leon Wood, he was as good as I saw too.
Man.....making me think of those days, lotta stuff I hadn't thought about for a long time. On his best day Raymond could've hung with MJ for sure.
A good friend of mine was a captain on Kareem's team at UCLA.....did your friend play with him at UCLA???
Man, I was thinking about one of my best friends who played ball with Coop, Alan Wiggins and Tony Gwynn, we hung out with all those guys when they were coming up as rookies and after. I've seen so much that there are even big things I never think about until it somehow pops up.
Back in the day there were good runs everywhere......pros preferred UCLA and you could show up in the summer and get picked to play, those were good times.
yeah, I was in LA for a minute, then out to Palisades, now in Calabasas.

How big is Calabasas? Anyways, can you take a picture of Lamar's house for me please If you don't know the direction... tell me, I'll PM it to you

Calabasas is not that big really and you run into everyone at Sagebrush Cantina, Kings Fish House, Gelsons and Ralphs at The Commons. 99% of the homes are in gated communities. I thought the Kardashians were still in Hidden Hills on the other side of the freeway not Calabasas. Anyway....their shows are phony...FACT. Where u at LG?
