I didn't notice what they were doing until about 7 minutes into the match without seeing any wrestling moves. I was like, damn, they're trying do it MMA style.

It's a good thing they adding wrestling in the second half of the match.

Except they start watching MMA, notice most of the time guys are hugging each other on the ground and no cool characters or the goofiness of pro wrestling.

I thought it was cool with what they did. Something different for a change. I'm also surprised Brock was willing to lose in his first match back.

That wasn't a wrestling match, that was a legit fight. I thought it was really refreshing to see. I thought the short Cena promo at the end was brilliant also. From what he said, he will be gone for a few months which is just what us as fans needed, a break from SuperCena

Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe had an MMA-style match a couple of years. They actually pulled it off better. The MMA-style match is why Shane McMahon was essentially removed from succession. He was pushing these style matches years ago.

There is no legit fights in WWE unless Vince said so. Brock just worked stiffer on Cena to go along with his fomer MMA fighter gimmick. It is more like Dan Severn in WWE with even more attitude. Still, giving Cena some time off after this PPV is a great move.

Chael Sonnen's character is more entertaining than any current wrestler's and their hottest catch phrase (yes) was borrowed from a goofy mma fighter...

Brock will probably cut a promo saying how he won the war because he's still standing, while Cena is out.

With the end of the Punk-Jericho feud, I bet Brock will become the #1 contender somehow.

MMA in WWE: They do have a few guys who uses a lot of MMA attacks and moves. CM Punk & Daniel Bryan in particular. It'd be pretty cool if they did more worked MMA/wrestling hybrid matches.
