I said AT LEAST. 10-20 AT LEAST for some teams. Not all teams have 35 4th rounders & undrafted players. But numerous teams have as many or more 4th/5th/6th/7th/undrafted than 1st/2nd round players.

What part of AT LEAST don't you understand?

With that, I'm out. Thank you for the entertainment. Thank you to those who read and followed along. You, too, can pitch in and make prime look dumb as well if you'd like.

If rounds 4-5-6-7 didnt matter why do teams bother trading for them?

If round 4-5-6-7 didnt matter why do teams do their homework on prospects beyond the first 3 rounds?

Face it, the totality of a draft from every round a team picks is valued. And its graded. You dont like it? You're by yourself arguing a stupid point. Offense, defense, special teams. All need players. Just like depth is important and key to a team.

Eagles looked at the 4-7 rds as meh then we wouldnt have a TE in Celek or a DE in Trent Cole who has been one of our best pass rushers. Why did either slip into that round? I'm so glad the Eagles didnt say meh, who really cares about these two. They'll be lucky to make the roster. Yet they made the roster and become legit starters and productive pieces to the Eagles team.

But yeah lets only grade rds 1-3 because obviously thats all the Cowboys are good for. Therefore you pulled this argument out of your famous place known as your ASS. Do you give yourself a prostate exam while you're at it?

Are you factoring in who the Eagles drafted or free agents/traded players are thrown in the mix?

I'm not saying those rounds don't matter, they do without question

I'm saying they are too unknown for us to grade, they have a high risk of not even making the team.

most of them are players we haven't heard of...

the "luck" factor is much greater

LENGTH TO IMPACT

The Huddle Reports Length To Impact (LTI) Chart shows when a player entering the NFL should be expected to be a full time starter or major contributor as it relates to his draft position. The percentages are based on a study of draft picks over a ten year period and published by Charley Casserly of NFL Network.
1st Round Picks - Should Start by end of first year and has a 75% chance of ever become a NFL starter.
2nd Round Picks - Should Start second season and has a 50% chance of ever become a NFL starter.
3rd Round Picks - Should Start third season and has a 30% chance of ever become a NFL starter
4th - 5th Round Picks - Should Start third season and has a 25% chance of ever become a NFL starter
6th - 7th Round Picks - Should Start third season and has a 9% chance of ever become a NFL starter

http://www.thehuddlereport.com/Free/...ools/LTI.shtml

FOUND IT!!!

25% + 9% = 34%

that is just a little higher than I thought I admitt, I thought it would be closer to 75-25, but STILL makes my point very clearly

How are you going to grade players that have a 75% chance of never starting?

Who are any of you to decide who had better picks on the 3rd day?...the vast majority of those players will never play...so in terms of grading...yeah the late rounds are "meh"....who cares it is too difficult to know what will become of them unlike the first 3 rounds

Here is Kiper grading the NFC North:

http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth/pos...ades-nfc-north

Kiper never even mentions the 3rd day in his grading, the entire grade is based around the the first picks...granted I think kiper sucks, but still...even he won't waste his time comparing 7th rounders.

“One of the best drafts in terms of lining up needs and getting guys at spots where I didn’t think they’d still be around,” said Kiper. “They moved up to get Fletcher Cox, an immediate starter. Mychal Kendricks is a perfect fit, and at No. 46, a really good value. The Eagles look a lot better up the middle after this weekend. If Vinny Curry came off the board really early in the second round, nobody would have been surprised, so to get him at No. 59 is a steal. Nick Foles has the upside of an NFL starter, and Andy Reid could turn him into something. Brandon Boykin is my No. 9-ranked corner, so I love the value as a fourth-rounder. I thought they might get a tackle earlier, but it’s hard to quibble given the value they got with every pick early on. I love this draft, and Bryce Brown will be an interesting story if he sticks. Keep an eye on Brandon Washington, a sixth-rounder with the upside of a starter at guard.

So he talked about a 4th rd pick, 6th rd pick and a 7th rd pick. Interesting take there Mel. Thought you only cared about the first picks.

The team has tons of needs and uses it's first two picks this year, it's first pick each of the next two years AND a fourth this year on the QB position.

Cousins isn't going to be close to ready to play backup in the near future. They'll still need a veteran to fill that role in the event of Griffin's injury or ineffectiveness.

So a team that has holes all over the place uses 5 draft picks on QB...and only one is going to be ready to play anytime soon. It's spectacularly bad roster management.

Giants always draft well.

Wilson will help them, so will the WR they picked, I think.

He could be the other outside WR opposite Nicks as soon as the middle or towards the later part of the year, which will allow Cruz to play he more natural slot position.

Hosley was a corner we had an eye on, but you guys took him right before us.

Why do you have arizona as a winner and cleveland as a loser? cuz of weeden? Feels like u penalised browns for drafting qb ... couldve blown that pick and money rushing into a bad trade for a backup.

The Redskins don't have as many needs as you would think. The only positions I think need to be upgraded in the near future are RT,CB & SS. Other than that, we have pretty good depth. 'Tons of needs' is an asinine statement.

Oh and btw, Cousins will most likely be the backup QB next season so there goes that. Again, you are just ignorant to the actual roster and there are not holes all over the place. I'll just kindly tell u to STFU
