Default NY & Orlando Trade Proposal

Dwight + Hedo for Amare + Chandler

Magic Line up:
Chandler/Davis
Amare/Clark
J-Rich/Q-Rich
Reddick/Wafer
Nelson/Duhon

NY Line up:
Howard/Jordan
Melo/Herrellson
Hedo/?
Shumpert/JR Smith
Lin/Douglas

This is what their rosters will look like if they make this trade happen once all the free agents come off the books.

why would the knicks give up 2 bigs for one big w/ an attitude problem and a bad back?

d12 will get upset once melo starts hogging the ball, i'd much rather have a defensive minded center and try to get ANYTHING for amare then take on d12

Amare is simply untradeable because he is uninsurable.
NY is stuck with him.

As well as undesirable. Amare is not a top tier player anymore. Maybe he needs Lin back to be dominant but in these playoffs he has been non-existent. There is no way you give up a defensive beast who gives you the entire package for a player who is rapidly declining. That's why I hate ( HATE) long-term max salary deals. They are only meant for 4 or 5 people in this league. NY is basically stuck with Amare, unless the amnesty him.

Make that Amare + Lin instead, then the Knicks can flip Chandler for a less expensive backup center and a decent PG.
