Best scorer vs. The best defender. Marion kicked Lebron's ass last year to. Just give Marion some credit.

would this be thread worthy if the FG%s were the other way around?

What are Durant's career playoff percentages? Just curious.

It's either force Durant to take difficult shots and let Westbrook score easily or force Westbrook to take difficult shots and let Durant score easily.

That's why actually watching the games and having a bit of intelligence is key. Don't look at Durant's shooting percentage and say "OMG Durant sucks, what is he doing". The Maverics have a gameplan and that's to limit one of the two players. The two players being Durant and Westbrook. And I'll say it again. I don't know how it's not easy to guard Westbrook. His only move is getting a screen from the 3 point line and pulling up for a free throw jumpshot. He averages 20 points a game just from that one move.

At least someone gets it. Like someone else said, Shawn Marion guarded LeBron in the finals last year and I think everyone knows the result.

Only non-OKC fans are interested in debating Durant vs. Westbrook. All that we care about is wins and losses. Regardless of how poorly Durant has played OKC is still up 2-0. Westbrook is a phenomenal player so him outplaying Durant in a series shouldn't be a major shock. In February and March he was playing like a top 5 player. Both Durant and Westbrook are really, really good players which is why OKC can win so many games with only one other legit scoring threat.

Let's ignore that Westbrook's sub 40% chucking cost OKC a trip to the finals last season and that the only game OKC won vs Dallas was with him on the bench for the entire 4th quarter.

Durant had 2 bad games...OMG LETS FREAK OUT.

Maybe you should go look at LeBron's stats vs the NBA champions from 2007 and 2008 if you want a real laugh

He is doing better versus Marion than Lebron ever did.

Durant poor shooting doesn't matter when he's getting marched to the line for free.

Yea why should anyone bother fouling 3 time scoring champ Durant? Durant should never get to the line.

I don't think I've seen you make a post yet that wasn't complaining about the refs "favoring" the Thunder. I've only noticed you in the Thunder/Mavericks series thread but every post in there is you making some off the cuff remark about the officiating. You do realize actual basketball is played too, right?
