Well we overpaid ALOT but I'll take it. It shows me that players want to play with Chris Paul. And we've got Reggie Bush to revive the Saints. It's looking good.

Yeah, and apparently a lot of Hornets players would prefer to play in OK City as it is. I think Peja will be a good fit. CP3 will get him a lot of open looks.

What a sh!tty deal. NO overpaid him big time. Peja = 1 dimensional player. Nonexistant on the defensive end and doesn't show up in the playoffs.

Crappy move by NO.

if the hornets perform well and sign sum decent additional players for the new season they'll look like real playoff contenders

I think the signing was more of an "Atlanta Hawks" move to get people playing for them. True they have cp3, david west, but after those two theres nothing more. If you add a third player over there like peja, players who may not want to play there may suddendly change their mind. The team would project an image that it was willing to win and is going to do what it takes.

Off topic but I am really disappointed with the JR Smith situation

A fact that's being underdicussed. PTI's the only other place I've seen this mentioned. They had numerous offers on the table for him, too. I know Danny offered Ricky in exchange, and heard of other deals (can't remember them, though).
