I don't Think Boone or Adams will ever be starters in the NBA. So I can't see them getting more than a B. I think A.Johnson (Mem) is a better prostect than Boone. I also think the Nets needed more size in the 2nd round J.Williams of (Wyo), Pittsnogle, Killingsworth and Mensah-Bonsa were still on the board, but they can get one of those guys as a rookie free agent.

1. There are very rare starters to be found at the 23rd + 54th that would've fit our need.

2. Johnson is not a sure thing at all. I hate on Boone, but dude is a lot more polished and tested than Johnson ever was. Alexander is just an atheletic freak which is why everyone loves him.

3. Pittsnoggle sucks. Hasaan is wayyyy better in terms of needs. Pitt has a nice stroke and height but he's fat, slow, and uncordinated. He averaged the same amount of rebounds as Adams in college too. Hasaan has room to get better, Pitt does not.

4. I like Marco Killingsworth a lot, but he doesn't have that much size. He's no taller than 6-6 and he's trying to be a powerforward. He's not good at defense and it'll be tough for him to dominate in the league like he did in the Big Ten. He doesn't play defense very well either despite having long arms. Even if, taking Hasaan Adams over Marco is not worth dropping from an A to a B-.

So re-assess your draft.

Default Yeah..

The draft grades for a lot of teams are too low.

What, teams dont get an A because they couldnt get Adam Morrisson or Rudy Gay despite draft position?

Grades are based on what the teams do wrt their position. NJ made exactly the right moves according to their position and who was available. TO picked Bargnani, which some people may not necessarily agree with, but he fits the team perfectly, especially with CV being traded the next day.
They also snagged a steal in PJ Tucker with one of their 2nd rounders, who will likely crack the rotation this year.

Jerry West got three guys that can make their rotation next year.

Utah Grade B
Brewer
D.Brown:
Both guys will have an impact next year

Portland Grade B
Aldridge
Roy
Rodriguez (minus Telfair)
Freeland
Aldridge and Roy should both start next year.

Chicago Grade B-
Thomas
Selolosha
Thomas does not have a position so he may take awhile to develop
Selolosha is the real deal

New Jersey Grade B-
M.Williams
Boone
Very good draft for the future

New Orleans Grade B-
Armstrong
Simmons
Vincius
They needed size and they got it, Vincius is a steal however they did not get the OG they needed.

Toronto Grade B-
Bargnani
Tucker
Bavic

Charlotte Grade B-
Morrison
Hollins
Morrison should battle Foye and S.Williams for ROY

Philadelphia Grade B-
Carney
Jones
They needed perimeter D and that is what they got, however don't these guys play the same position?

Orl Grade C+
Reddick
Augustine
Solid draft, needed a shooter and got the best one

LA Clippers Grade C+
P.Davis
Diaz
Both guys could have major roles coming off the bench next year

Cleveland Grade C
S.Brown
Gibson
Ugbuaga
Very good draft both Brown and Gibson can score the ball however neither is a pure pg

Minnesota Grade C-
Foye
C.Smith
Mavrokefolidis
Trading B.Jones was senseless

Dallas Grade C-
Ager
This guy could start next year

Sac-Town Grade C-
Douby
This guy can fill it up off the bench

Bos Grade C-
Rondo
Powe
Getting Telfair made this a good draft

ATL Grade C-
S.Williams
Jones
S.Williams may be the best player in this draft

LAL Grade C-
Farmer
Pincock
This was OK, but Clips did better with lower picks

Washington Grade C-
Pecherov
Veremeenko
Pecherov can really shoot the ball

I don't know how you can say who are the draft winners. Maybe you should add the word potential and then assess the draft 5 years from now.

These guys have not even played a season yet alone a summer league game. Wait at least 2 seasons then let's grade them.
