If Mike Brown is hiring, I will not be watching the Nets until he is fired. I was displeased with Avery here and there but in reality, he needed more time. And also, it's Deron's fault we're playing like shit. Shooting 30% from the field and not playing defense when just given 100 million is atrocious. Good luck to Avery but I do feel bad.
I bet the Nets wont hire Mike Brown, but dude I am with you with not watching the Nets games if hes the coach.
Best 1st quarter from Nets all season. 95% of our points in that quarter came from screens and ball movement. No isolation plays at all. We need to do that every quarter and every game if we want to be successful. 4th quarter was atrocious and Marshon started bricking shots as did Taylor but we need to mimic the first quarter. I'm not as concerned about tomorrow but focusing more on SAS and OKC.

Looks to me Marshon still needs his confidence back, he has the ability to play well, its about mentality.
Also, I can't remember the last time Brook had 20+ points and Evans had a double digit rebounding game in the same game. I believe it only happened during our 11-4 run. Let's start back the wins. In our next 11 games I think we can go 9-2. Anything less then 8-3 is putrid. We need to take advantage of the semi-light January schedule.

Now that you say it, I think its a pretty good time for a coach to take over the Nets. Easy schedule to get some wins and establish authority, if he meets a tough schedule and we go something like 3-11 then hes immediately in hot seat.
meh I didn't really see much difference other than putting more effort and making shots, oh and also playing against bobcats..which sure made things a lot easier. Ball movement sure does improve when you're motivated. I just want to see it playing against good teams, like the last game in Miami before we got crushed later in the game. I still jizz thinking about that 1st half.
And whats better, the Knicks lost. I look at their schedule, they sure will lose that home game against Spurs and it will be fun time every now and then.
Considering we need this much from Brook Lopez to beat the lowly Cavs by 3 I aint optimistic about these two road games. Well we may be able to win in OKC though, the Thunder is overrated.
yea. pj actually told his players not to pass to brook if he's 12 feet away from the basket.
i loved that. instant respect for PJ.
he was also pretty crisp and amusing at the postgame press conference, from what i read. maybe he's not as bad as his screaming sideline act comes across as sometimes.
The Nets need to waive every player and just rebuild from scratch. To score 5 points in an entire quarter 30 games into the season is utter trash. It seems as if the Nets can only pounce on lottery teams and this is the 3rd time in just 30 games that we've been blown out by 30. I honestly can't stand the Nets anymore. How does a $300 million get blown out by 30 so many damn times. Even the Heat didn't have it this bad in 2010.
