Pacers have gotten steadily better

Will be interesting to see how Danny Granger fits into the mix

Well, horrible game tonight in Portland. Late start, defense wasn't as good as normal. Portland played with more fire tonight than we did since they were on a 6 game losing streak....

The Pacers have been at or near the top of the league in defense all season, but you wouldn't have known that from Wednesday's performance.

The Trail Blazers shot 56 percent from the field. Forward LaMarcus Aldridge led all five Portland starters in double figures with 27 points. J.J. Hickson added 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Swingman Paul George, who dealt with foul trouble, led the Pacers with 22 points. David West added 21 points, but the Pacers only shot 37 percent from the field.
