The only reason he would fall that far is if his medical flags are more severe than originally thought. Im not the biggest fan of Jarvis, he evaporates too many times in a game, but he deserves to be a top 12 selection based on productivity and the premium of being a pass rusher.
Yeah, it literally never crossed my mind and now a couple beat writers got my hopes up for nothing lol. I am wondering what PIT will do in the draft tho. Its a safe bet they will go front 7 but I wonder who. Im sure some of it depends on what they think Shawne Spence will be after his recovery.
Indy's told Dwight Freeney they don't have any interest in re-signing him. He's not what he used to be, and was REALLY overpaid last year, but he can still help a 4-3 team. Kind of hope he goes to Atlanta.
Greg Jennings is reportedly seeking 14 million dollars a year.
Good luck with that.
Any team who offers him that money or anything over $10mil would be a dumb move. That's how teams get into salary cap hell. If I was Miami I would resign Hartline, sign a low to mid level FA WR and possibly draft a WR in the first two rounds of the draft. That's the best scenario to fix their WR core.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Eagles will release Nnamdi Asomugha if he doesn't agree to a pay cut.
A release may not be a foregone conclusion, but it's coming barring a mammoth restructuring of Asomugha's untenable $15 million base salary. The sides are meeting Friday in Indianapolis. A transaction could be finalized by the weekend.
